Kepler – University in Kigali

Kepler is a non-profit higher education organisation based on KG 29 Avenue in Kigali, Rwanda, known for its innovative model that combines accredited degrees with practical, job-focused learning. Founded in 2013, it partners with Southern New Hampshire University so that students can earn US-accredited associate and bachelor's degrees, while Kepler adds blended in-person and online coursework, professional skills training and internship and job placement support. Its programmes focus on areas such as healthcare management, business, communications and data, and are designed for students from low-income backgrounds and refugee communities, including a campus serving refugees at Kiziba. Kepler is well known for the high employment rate of its graduates and works with employers across East Africa. The organisation also runs programmes in Ethiopia.
