Description
The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) is the government body responsible for promoting investment, exports and enterprise development in Zambia, with its head office at Investment House on Nasser Road in Lusaka. Established in 2006 by bringing together several earlier agencies, ZDA acts as a one-stop shop for investors, helping them with investment licences and incentives, information on sectors and opportunities, and links to other government bodies. It promotes key sectors such as agriculture, mining, manufacturing, energy, tourism and ICT, and manages multi-facility economic zones and industrial parks. ZDA also supports small and medium enterprises and exporters through market information, trade missions and business linkages, and organises investment forums and expos. The agency publishes guides and reports on doing business in Zambia. Investors and businesses can reach the Lusaka head office by phone or general email.
