Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology – University in Kakamega

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, known as MMUST, is a public university in Kakamega, western Kenya. It started as the Western College of Arts and Applied Sciences and was chartered as a full university in 2007, named after the independence-era politician Masinde Muliro. MMUST has about 20,000 students and some 400 programmes across schools of engineering, computing and informatics, agriculture, nursing, medicine and public health, education, business, arts and social sciences, and disaster management.
