African Leadership University – University in Kigali

African Leadership University, known as ALU, is a pan-African higher education institution with its Rwanda campus at Kigali Innovation City in Bumbogo, Kigali, and a sister campus in Mauritius. Founded by the team behind the African Leadership Academy, it aims to train ethical, entrepreneurial leaders for the continent. ALU uses a mission-based, self-directed learning model, in which students work on real problems facing Africa, take part in internships and build skills in leadership, communication and critical thinking. Its undergraduate degrees include international business and trade, software engineering, and entrepreneurial leadership, and it also runs postgraduate and online programmes through the ALU School of Business. Students come from dozens of African countries, which makes the campus very diverse. Prospective students can apply online for its intakes. For admissions and general enquiries, ALU can be contacted by phone or email.
