Kenyatta National Hospital – Hospital in Nairobi

Kenyatta National Hospital is Kenya's largest public referral and teaching hospital, located off Hospital Road in Upper Hill, Nairobi. Its history goes back to 1901, and today it receives patients referred from hospitals across the country and the wider East African region. The hospital works closely with the University of Nairobi's College of Health Sciences and the Kenya Medical Training College, training doctors, nurses and other health workers and supporting medical research. It offers specialist care in areas such as surgery, internal medicine, oncology, renal care, cardiothoracic services, orthopaedics, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, critical care and accident and emergency. Diagnostic services include laboratories, radiology and imaging. The hospital also runs a private wing for patients who want amenity services.
