Description
Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is a safari lodge in Tsavo West National Park in south-eastern Kenya, operated by Serena Hotels. Built from local stone beneath the slopes of the Chyulu Hills, it was one of the first lodges in Kenya's national parks and is now the first African safari lodge to receive IFC EDGE Advanced green building certification. At the heart of the lodge is a waterhole where elephants, buffalo, zebra and many other animals gather throughout the day, visible from the rooms, restaurant and stone-built bar. Rooms have views of the waterhole or the hills, with Wi-Fi, a minibar and satellite TV. Guests can relax at the pool, enjoy bush breakfasts and sundowners at Lion Rock, and explore Mzima Springs, Shetani lava flows and the Ngulia rhino sanctuary on game drives. Rates start from around USD 212 per person. Reservations can be made through Serena by phone or email.
