Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) is a public technical university in Kumasi, the capital of Ghana's Ashanti Region. It traces its roots to the Kumasi Technical Institute, founded in 1954, which later became Kumasi Polytechnic and was converted into a technical university in 2016. KsTU offers higher national diplomas, bachelor of technology degrees, master's programmes and professional courses through faculties covering engineering, applied sciences and technology, business and management studies, creative arts and technology, and health and allied sciences.
