Lagos State University Teaching Hospital – Hospital in Lagos

Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, widely known as LASUTH, is the Lagos State Government's main teaching and referral hospital, located on Oba Akinjobi Way in Ikeja, Lagos. It began as a general hospital in the 1950s and became a teaching hospital in 1999, working alongside the Lagos State University College of Medicine. LASUTH offers emergency and trauma care, outpatient clinics and inpatient wards across a broad range of specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, cardiology, nephrology and dialysis, oncology, ophthalmology, psychiatry, radiology and laboratory medicine. It also handles complex referrals from other hospitals across Lagos and neighbouring states. As a training centre, it hosts medical, nursing and allied health students and resident doctors.
