Description
Mara Intrepids is a luxury tented camp in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, overlooking the Talek River at the meeting point of the Mara's four main game-viewing areas. Operated by Heritage Hotels, the camp is known for its excellent location, with good game viewing and birding all year and front-row access to the Great Wildebeest Migration in season. Guests stay in spacious tents with four-poster king-size beds and private verandas facing the river. Three game drives a day are offered in open-sided safari vehicles with knowledgeable, gold-certified guides. The camp is particularly popular with families thanks to its children's programme, one of the best in the region, which introduces young guests to wildlife and Maasai culture.
