Description

Université Ibn Tofail is a public university in Kénitra, a city on Morocco's Atlantic coast north of Rabat. Founded in 1989 and named after the twelfth-century Andalusian philosopher Ibn Tufail, it has grown into one of the country's larger universities. Its faculties and schools cover sciences, economics and management, law and political science, languages, letters and arts, human and social sciences, education, and engineering, including the National School of Applied Sciences and the National School of Business and Management in Kénitra. The university offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes, as well as professional degrees, and runs research laboratories in many fields. Students come from Kénitra and the wider Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region. Admission to most programmes follows the Moroccan baccalaureate, with selection for some schools. The presidency can be contacted by phone or email for information.
