Wollo University – University in Dessie

Wollo University is a public university in Dessie, a major town in the Amhara Region of north-eastern Ethiopia. Established in the mid-2000s as part of Ethiopia's expansion of higher education, it has grown into a multi-campus university serving students from across the country.
