Moi University – University in Eldoret

Moi University is a public university whose main campus sits at Kesses, about 35 kilometres from Eldoret in Uasin Gishu County. Founded in 1984 as Kenya's second public university, it now has several campuses, including the Town Campus and the College of Health Sciences next to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, plus a campus in Nairobi. The university offers certificate, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in medicine and health sciences, engineering, law, education, business and economics, agriculture, information science, arts and social sciences. Its medical school is known for its long-running partnership with international universities through the AMPATH programme.
