Description
The Bourse de Casablanca, or Casablanca Stock Exchange, is Morocco's stock exchange and one of the largest in Africa, based in Casablanca. Founded in 1929, it lists the shares and bonds of many of the country's leading companies in banking, telecoms, real estate, construction, energy and retail, and it calculates the MASI and MASI 20 indices that track the market. The exchange operates the trading platform, supervises market members such as brokerage firms, admits new listings and publishes market data, company disclosures and statistics. It also runs programmes to help small and medium-sized companies raise capital, develops new products and promotes financial literacy for retail investors. The exchange works closely with the Moroccan capital markets authority and the central depository. Investors, issuers and the media can contact the Bourse de Casablanca by phone or its general contact email.
